Watching Curly Sue… Such nostalgia. Reminds me of my first sleepover for a friend’s birthday party. Btw, Steve Carell is a waiter with no lines in the movie. Haha!

My forever-growing reading list.
In this stack I have only managed to finish the bottom book. Currently reading the top book. Lost interest in one of the middle ones. I have this horrible habit of starting books and never finishing them.
Another book to add: The Imperfectionists by Tom Rachman
Day 60: Mint Julep. Thanks to Groupon, tonight was a whiskey night. Whiskey flights! Tonight was not my night for whiskey taste testing. Usually I ace the test but my taste buds were distracted and confused by other spices and herbs from dinner. Specific Whiskey to remember: Black Maple Hill.
Branch Whiskey Bar, Portland
On a side note: Now that I finally found my camera battery charger, I need to get back to taking my daily pictures.
I just came across my old blog from 2004. Oh, remember the days of livejournal. Does anyone actually use that anymore?
Creativity through photos and cooking! Enjoy!

I <3 Summer Squash
I want to try this! Looks so colorful and delicious! Cooking in the summer is the best. Thanks again Cathy Erway!
Incredibly exhausted after cooking tonight’s dinner but thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
I love:
1) chopping vegetables
2) the smell of garlic and onions sauteing
3) cooking and eating in with friends
Now its time to think of the next dinner! Perhaps a “stuffed” theme?
